MINI Countryman Review - Is the Countryman still a go-kart? There’s no doubt the diesel is going to be the engine of choice in the Countryman. And if you opt for the Cooper D – which we have – you’ll get the new BMW 1.6 litre lump instead of the old PSA unit.
The first Mini Cooper S John Cooper Works GP was produced in 2006 to mark the end of the first generation of the Mini developed by BMW. Only 2,000 were produced. Mini is bringing the GP name back in 2012, in the same limited amount, with the cars arriving at dealerships later this year.

Two months ago McLaren revealed their new supercar – the McLaren MP4-12C. Beyond some disappointment that the styling was a little generic, the praise for the potential of the new Ferrari-busting McLaren has been pretty much universal. We’re more inclined to see the styling as ‘Classic Supercar’ and non-dating, but these things are entirely subjective.
